With the spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Academy of Careers in Education has created an environment where students interested in teaching and the world of academia will master a high level of skills associated with the field of education. The focus of ACE is to provide a diverse learning environment for college and career preparation in a variety of educational fields. Students are prepared to teach in many settings--pre-school, elementary school, high school, after school programs, special education and coaching athletics through collaborative, team based projects across disciplines, and become future leaders in the fields of education.
The four year program of study in the Academy of Careers in Education focuses on courses in Project Lead the Way, community college courses, and National Academy Foundation courses. It has been developed to prepare our students in the public education sector, private educational settings (from pre-schools to corporate-level). The ACE program of study includes a rigorous curriculum designed for students to reach their educational goals for the educational sector; it also meets both state and national standards and career & technical standards.
The ACE pathway is designed to embrace college credit, internships and paid internships to provide exciting educational experiences for its pathway students.
