ELD Advanced (Period 3)
Course Description
Students will have access to strengthen their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in order to qualify for eventual re-designation as Fully English Proficient (FEP).The ELD Advanced course also focuses on rigorously strengthening students’ academic reading, writing, and speaking abilities aligned with the Common Core Standards. At the conclusion of this course, students enter an appropriate English composition for the following academic school year.
