BIOLOGY
Biology is a college preparatory course that includes the study of cells, genetics, population dynamics, ecology, classification of living things, and plant and animal physiology. This class meets the UC and CSU "D" requirement and addresses the California State Science Standards. Students will keep an AVID interactive notebook with all classwork and laboratory activities. This course is currently open to 9th and 10th grade students.
Students in the Law, Justice, and Ethics Pathway will be taking field trips to the County Coroner's Office and the Forensic Lab at Fresno State. These trips will enhance topics covered within the curriculum.
