Common Core is a shift from multiple choice exams

An increase in academic rigor will better prepare our students for college and career.

 

In the Fall of 2014, PUSD hired Common Core coaches to help teachers with the transition.  Michelle Efseaff has taught ? years of high school English and ? years at Porterville College.

 

In the Fall of 2015, the District hired Melanie Kelly as the Math Common Core Coach.
