Rich has been a teacher for 43 years in the Porterville Public School District.  During this time, he has coached Football, Cross-Country, Volleyball, Wrestling, Softball, Baseball and Diving.  He has also coached 25 different championship teams!  Academically, Rich has been a Mentor Teacher two years, selected as Teacher of the Year three times, and was Tulare County Teacher Of The Year in 2011.. Rich has been married to his wife Lissa  for 44 years and has two daughters, Jennifer and Kristen.   In his spare time, he enjoys going to concerts, his lake house, and playing with his new grandchildren Joseph,Sofia,Zella, Charlotte, Eleanor and Tripp..
