ACSA Scholarship

Amount: $400

Criteria: Graduating Senior, college plans, the parent or legal guardian must have a current membership with the Tulare County Charter of ACSA, and  2.5 GPA or higher.

Robert Miller Scholarship for Viticulture & Enology
 
Amount: $500- $1000
 
Criteria: HS student majoring Viticulture or Enology, attending a 2 or 4-year college, parent or guardian who is was an employee of a Winegrape grower during the 2018 or 2019 season, financial need, community services, and complete 500-word essay.

Friends of the CA. State Fair Scholarship

Amount:  Various Amounts

Criteria The Friends of the California State Fair offers 14 categories of scholarships with varying eligibility requirements. Applicants may apply for one scholarship category of their choice per year. Applicants must meet all of the criteria for a specific scholarship to be an eligible candidate. Applicants must plan to enroll for both the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters. Students graduating after the fall of 2019 are not eligible to apply, as this scholarship is intended for the full academic year. The scholarship categories and requirements are listed on the next application page.

Bartlett Scholarship 2021

Amount: $6,000

Criteria: The selection of recipients for the Bartlett Scholarship are based on the following criteria. Each factor is weighted as indicated.

1. Academic Evaluation-40%

  • a. GPA (min 3.0 cum)
  • b. Rigor of courses (AP classes, Honors, level of Core courses)
  • c. SAT scores (High school only)

2. Financial Need-30%
3. Personal Interview-20%

4. Activities and Employment-10%

parent or grandparent be a CURRENT ACTIVE PAYING MEMBER AT THE LOCAL CHAPTER 38 LEVEL. THE APPLICANT MUST BE PLANNING TO ATTEND TWO OR FOUR YEARS OF COLLEGE, A VOCATIONAL OR TECHNICAL SCHOOL OR COLLEGE AFTER GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL. If applicant is not sure of the parent or grandparent  membership status, the applicant’s parent can simply contact our local chapter to verify their current member status.  The deadline for The Local CSEA Chapter 38 Scholarship Application is March 20, 2021. 

 

Zonta Club- Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Criteria: Women age from 16-19 yrs old studying at a secondary school, college or university, community service, experience in local government, student government, or leadership, volunteer leadership achievements, knowledge of Zonta International and its program.

Criteria: HS Graduate with 2.5+ GPA, must be a full-time student for the Fall of 2021 @ a community college or university. Plan to obtain a credential for a career in Education. Amount:$1,000- $2,000 (4 scholarships available) 

Criteria: HS from District 6/Central Region includes Tulare County, 2.5 GPA or better, plan to attend university or junior college or trade school, plan to pursue a career in one of the following fields or other related transportation fields.

Criteria: Students with at least a 3.20 GPA and/or are Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois, and Nevada, only where Branches of the Federation is established. or 2) if either Roman Catholic parent, guardian or grandparent is a member of the Italian Catholic Federation, the student must be Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent or live where Branches of the Federation are established - membership of a Roman Catholic parent, guardian or grandparent is mandatory.

Criteria: HS seniors in Tulare County who performed a minimum of 50 hrs of volunteer service outside of school focusing on improving literacy in Tulare County, minimum 3.0 GPA, and plan to attend a college, university, or vocational/trade school in the US.
