Fresno State President's Honors Scholarship (Smittcamp)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum 3.8 high school GPA
  • Ranking in the top 10 percent of your high school graduating class

The AXA Achievement Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

World Ag Expo and E.M. Tharp Inc. team up again to provide the "We Believe in Growing" scholarship, created to further support agriculture education. High school seniors from Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings and Kern counties are encouraged to apply.Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students who attend a four-year university to major in an agricultural field. Tulare County Charter of the A.C.S.A.  Scholarship

Amount: $200 - minimum

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The applicant must be graduating this school year
  • The parent or legal guardian must have a current membership with the Tulare County Charter of A.C.S.A.
  • The applicant must have maintained a G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher for the seven semesters prior to the application deadline

This scholarship is based on academic achievement and leadership skills.  Students must be planning to pursue an education in the agriculture industry with a livestock emphasis.  Amount of scholarship range from $1000- $1500

Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California, Inc. Scholarship Committee

Eligibility Requirements:  Application must be fully completed

  1. Students must be of Portuguese descent on father’s or mother’s side, be a USA citizen or permanent resident
  2. Maintain a minimum of 3.5 GPA in high school (grades 9-12) and be a graduating senior of a California High School. Transcript of GPA must accompany application.
  3. Meet all requirements set down by an accredited university or college of the student’s choice.
  4. Participated in at least three extra-curricular activities while in high school
  5. Present three letters of recommendation from individuals who will vouch for the applicant’s academic standing, character and personality. At least one of these three letters must be from the Principal, Dean or Counselor, verifying participation in the extra-curricular activities.  One letter must be from a Teacher of the high school attended.  The third letter may be from any other source except relative.  Individuals writing letters are to include their titles or position.

Sun Pacific has announced their 2018 scholarship.

Sun Pacific will award five scholarships, three to four-year accredited university and two to any accredited trade school or community college. (Applicants cannot apply for both)  Applicant must be graduating seniors, have a parent or guardian who has worked for Sun Pacific for at least two seasons. Selection is based on academic performance, leadership ability, community service, personal interview and financial need. Bartlett Trust Scholarship Application The Bartlett Scholarship is only available to students completing their high school or junior college education, who will attend a four year college or university in California. Ray Jones Scholarship Fund  The RAY JONES SCHOLARSHIP FUND provides financial assistance to selected California Indian students graduating from a central valley high school and pursuing a postsecondary degree. Five scholarship awards of $2,500 each will be awarded to selected applicants seeking a post-secondary degree at a two or four- year college, university, or vocational- technical school. One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a selected applicant seeking a bachelor's degree from a four year college or university.
