Welcome to Granite Hills High School!
Like my students, I am also a product of the Porterville Unified School District system. I went to: John J. Doyle Elementary, Pioneer Middle School, Porterville High School, and Porterville College. I then transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara and majored in History, and then attended the University of La Verne to receive my teaching credential and my Masters in Education. I have my teaching credential in both English and Social Science.
This is the 10th year I have been working as a teacher, and the 4th year working at Granite Hills High School. I currently teach: 12th Grade Expository Reading and Writing, 10th Grade Law, Justice and Ethics, and CAHSEE Review classes.
I teach in room # 1011 and I am available to tutor students with an appointment in the morning or after school. I look forward to a great year!
